Parent & Pathway Support
04 Parent & Pathway Support

The academy journey is hard on players. It's just as hard on families.

I've lived this from every side: as a professional, a coach, a coach educator, and as a father who supported his own son from age seven to a professional career. Fourteen years inside an elite academy, as a parent, taught me things no qualification can. The uncertainty, the highs and lows, the quiet pressure on the whole family, and how much the environment around a young player shapes whether they thrive.

That's the perspective I bring to families, and to the clubs that want to support them better. Most consultants can talk about player wellbeing. I've lived the long version of it, and so has my family.
